Parents

For parents: Paying for college.

We know you want to help your child with their college costs. We also know that this can be a very stressful process. That's why we want to make it as convenient as possible for you.

We offer a "pay as you go" tuition plan, so there's no big bill due before each quarter or semester. That alone can ease your mind.

At Axia College, your child will have access to their own, personal enrollment representative who can help both of you better understand the financial aid process.

More about federal aid.

If you're eligible, the Federal Student Aid office has a variety of programs available to help you pay for college. Not all schools participate in all federal student aid programs. Axia College participates in a variety of programs, including:

  • Federal Pell Grants—These are available only to undergraduate students and generally do not have to be repaid.
  • Federal Stafford Loans—These are student loans that must be repaid.
  • Federal PLUS Loans—These are unsubsidized loans made to parents.
  • Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)—These are available only to first- and second-year undergraduate students and generally do not have to be repaid.
  • For more information on federal financial aid visit, www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov

Estimate your eligibility early!

A complimentary online tool called FAFSA4caster can help you estimate your eligibility for federal student aid before you file your completed FAFSA. The FAFSA4caster also may reduce the time needed to complete your FAFSA application. To access the FAFSA4caster, visit www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov.
