How does the online classroom work?
At Axia College of University of Phoenix you can complete 100% of your education via the Internet. All interaction among students and instructors is conducted asynchronously, through email and newsgroups, so everyone is able to participate when it's convenient for them. You will be required to log into class three days a week, but you can do that at any time on any three days. All courses are offered two at a time, in pairs that complement each other. Each course lasts just nine weeks.
When you log into class, you will download course material (lectures, discussion questions, assignments, etc.) from your instructor that you can review at your convenience. Throughout the course, your instructor will provide guidance and feedback on your progress. You will also have access to a full range of online research libraries and services.
While the convenience of our online program is unsurpassed, it does require a high level of concentration and self-discipline. The curriculum will challenge your ability to quickly assimilate new ideas, evaluate complex data, think creatively, and communicate effectively.
